Our winery was one of the first private cellars to open its doors in Badacsony. The culture of grapes and wine has been passed down from father to son in our family. The family-run wine estate now cultivates 7 hectares in one of Hungary's most renowned wine regions, on the shore of the picturesque Lake Balaton at the foot of Badacsony Hill.
The winery has been continuously expanding. The 'Titkos Pince' (Secret Cellar) was completed in 1999, followed by the Sipos Guesthouse in the spring of 2003, making it a certified stop on the Badacsony Wine Route and a key destination for Balaton wine tourism. The guesthouse, built on top of the cellar, welcomes wine-loving guests all year round.
We believe that in addition to traditions, we must also bring new life to our winemaking. We do this through our diverse programs, such as our Theatre Evenings, where visitors can meet actors awarded with the Jászai Mari Prize, as well as through our renewed labels, which feature hidden movie references (Olasz of the Rizling, Szürkebarát GOT (Game of Thrones)).
